My favorite therapist used to say that until we learn the intended life lessons, the tests will keep coming around and showing up. Sometimes we’re tested in the same way or sometimes differently, but the same lessons keep coming until we learn them.
As I've made quite a few new friends on Facebook and other online spaces, the request to see my face often comes up-- not as much as requests for other parts of my body but certainly often enough.
Remember the short story I've been working on -- Passion's Curse? Well, I finished my first draft! I really agonized over the ending and finally made a decision and just wrote it, knowing I would change it in the revisions to come. Again, I didn't love how the story was ending, but I committed to the writing and the first draft is done! It feels so good to have a completed draft of my first significant creative writing project.

Anxiety. Feels like I could choke on it. It's playing on my mind, churning in my stomach, and grasping at my throat all at the same time.
